Hello to all of you,
with these exercises I'll be very glad to give you some ideas to improve your guitar technique
and to feel more at ease when you play fast sequence. These examples start from simple ideas to
arrive to more intricated parts... but as all of you knows the time to have a great technique as
Greg Howe, Shawn Lane or Richie Kotzen is slow and with a lot of practice.
I really hope you'll enjoy this kind of course of shred guitar playing and for any questions please
email me.
This first exercise is based on an alternate picking sequence. It is
important to follow the pick downstroke and upstroke at tempo; start with
slow and then try more fast. When you are sure that you are picking correctly
you can use this one also for a legato exercise.
This is a string skipping with legato and tapping with one and two fingers.
As all the exercise start very slow. For the tapping use the second and the
third finger of your right hand. You can improve the movement of these fingers
with alternate notes and then try with this sequence.
This last one is based on a Aminor arpeggio with more notes played by tapping.
As the second exercise for the tapping notes use the second and the third fingers
because you have the pick in the one.

I hope you enjoyed these examples and see you next time!
